First real steps

First real steps are taken.. I haven't posted on this blog since last year but I have not stopped working on this music project ;)  Just to leave a note that I tried some of the new tracks and actually I mastered the music and did play live (at home during the day)  Sounded Great.. 1 hour later I had the police ring my doorbell :/

Very soon I will post some of my music here and maybe later I will delete this blog and start a "professional looking" blog and start to accept bookings to play live (as at home can create problems)

WHY DELETE THIS BLOG?
I still not too sure about the name to use for this project as I have started to publish some music (not from this project) but from another project and am using the same name (dada project) so am afraid I have to change one of the names... I just still haven't decided yet! 

What? What? What? :0 Oh yes.. am actually very happy with the final result and willing to show it to the world, the only problem is that this music project is built with samples and loops. I will not sell the music and I will have to attach a (copyright notice) any time I play the music. Am not sure but I don't know even if I will be allowed to show the work in the web. Don't we all love to live in democratic freedom !?

Anyway... my first attempts are about Ambient / Industrial Music scores - these are not ILLEGAL SAMPLES, they are free on the web for anyone to use but the problem with this sample music is the fact that people out there offering these samples for free and they revindicate the rights to the people that use it !?
And.. as usual, the law is always on the wrong side. On the other side, I did buy a recorder and I used to go out and record lots of sounds and people's voices (including the attitude expressed in the comments etc...) ;)

Whatever... This is sampling music and sampling music is an Art not recognised by society making this music construction to be considered a criminal act !? OOHH shit! I don't think music is a crime :/

Enough of bla bla bla... dah dah dah :0 am happy with the final result and soon I will be posted here a little recording I did (The live at home) wish is only 30minuts but shows exactly where the project is at the moment.
I have to say.. the first time I uploaded one of my tracks (in private) on Soundcloud, it was taken down right away by the (automatic copyright system) because the track had a sample from a Muslim chant... wish.. was nothing wrong with the sample and was recorder by a friend of mine wile she was in Holidays.  She recorded the chant in his mobile phone and offered me the sample.
Anyway.. I revindicate the right of the music and the track was put back but... I can expect things like this will happen as I use many voice samples from old times radio and government speeches from 1920 and + hope some people do not like to listen :) haha Reality hurts some susceptible people and society doesn't like to look back to see the mistakes they have been making! Am very sorry... Dada Project music is about that!

Dada Project music is for the mind... is music to listen to is different is avant-garde is meaningless nonsense provocative intellectually controversial and most of all... is different, dark and experimental!
This project will create visions and emotions for to everyone concentrate on the music played. :)

Styles / Music / Samples

I need to come and write more specific stuff about the music styles I choose for this project (mainly ambient) but inside of the Ambient is many other styles, so here are some of the styles I have lined up for this music project:

AMBIENT
ELECTRONIC
TRIP_HOP
INDUSTRIAL
DUBSTEP
ETHNIC
DANCE (including Goa / Psy)
FLUTE PROJECT (a little project for a flute playing ;)

For now, I need to get these samples all organized and start to work on it .

Not dead project

Hello, 2012 !!

I know... is now the end of the year and I haven't written anything since 2011.
Not because I didn't work on this project but because I have maturing ideas and making different planes.
So.. I decided to change many things and go forward to make this project walk out of the studio.. how?

Since I broth the Dock station for the laptop I believed the machine would work with this but unfortunately was too much delay between the sound backgrounds and the drums and the beat was running out on the 8 bar.:

what to do !? If I can not use the Drums of the machine, I will not use but I will not drop this project and abandon everything only because the drums are going out of synch, so I decided to not use the drums of the machine and this will let me with only the background sounds wish now... are complete tracks made on Ableton projected to be overdub with the sounds of the kaossilator into a mixer ;)

I have many ideas but I only write this now to let you know this project is only started.

Next, I have 108 new tracks (backgrounds) to work on Ableton and set up to upload into the machine and from there I will get back here to leave more info... till then..
Keep it experimental and ... mental ;)
